I was pleased to be able to attend the Wastesavers Summer BBQ event today. The event celebrated the continued work of Wastesavers across Newport.

Wastesavers, in collaboration with Newport City Council, have helped reaffirm Newport’s status as a recycling city, something we are renowned for across Wales. It’s great to see how Wastesavers are successfully combining their kerbside and commercial collections with other community projects, such as the Reuse Centre and PEAK project.

Continually looking to improve Wastesavers are a real Newport success story.
