It was a real pleasure to host a Labour party stall at the Bettws Festival on Saturday morning.  I had the opportunity to listen to lots of residents who shared their concerns and hopes for the future.  Our red gazebo did a roaring trade in Labour Party balloons!

Afterwards, along with Rosemary Butler and many other hundreds of Newportonians, I went to the Parc Pantry Party in Belle Vue Park on Saturday afternoon.  It was great to see the park full of people taking advantage of the glorious weather.  All proceeds went to St David’s Hospice.  A fantastic event which showed the best of Newport
