Energy and Enthusiasm at the Dance and Sports Leaders Awards

On Thursday evening it was a real pleasure to attend, alongside Jessica Morden MP, the Dance and Sports Leaders Awards.  

Held in the Newport Y.M.C.A the amazing energy and enthusiasm was there for all to see with the dance routines on display!

The awards recognised young people’s commitment and hardwork.  It was great to see so many of them getting awards.

Initiatives like this are crucial,  the future leaders of our communities and groups do not just turn up they need nurturing and mentoring.  This scheme has already set many young people on that path and long may it continue.
