Today is World Sight Day. Most people take for granted their eye health and only deal with a problem when it arises.
However, people can often prevent or spot problems before they start by regularly getting their eyes tested. It is always better to catch problems early. World Sight Day aims to raise awareness of the importance of good eye health and the need for access to regular sight tests across the world.
We are lucky here in Wales many people are able to get free eye tests. Those over 60, children, people on income related benefit and those at risk if eye disease can all get tested for free. It really is worth contacting your local optician to get a test if you have not had one recently.
