National price compairson firm stays true to local roots

It’s good to see the further development of Newport-based Gocompare.com with the launch of the company’s own dedicated careers website. The new website – gocomparecareers.com – has been set up with a view to creating a nurturing a new batch of high-skilled jobs in South Wales.

Starting as a small business in 2006, Go Compare is now one of the UK’s leading price comparison websites and a well-recognised national brand. It’s good that the company – and its founder, Newport’s Hayley Parsons – have stayed true to their local roots, and I look forward to seeing the company expand its workforce in Newport and South Wales over the next few years. I understand that Go Compare employees benefit from support in terms of new qualifications, including various work-based accreditations.
