I was delighted to join the First Minister Carwyn Jones on his visit to Newport’s award-winning Tiny Rebel Brewery.
Tiny Rebel Brewery – founded in 2012 by Newport brothers-in-law Bradley Cummings and Gareth Williams – are based at the Maesglas Industrial Estate, and recently announced plans to open a new bar in Newport City Centre.
Tiny Rebel have enjoyed great success at their Urban Tap House bar in Cardiff, and sold beers all around the world, but they have never forgotten their roots here in Newport. I think everyone is excited at the prospect of a new Tiny Rebel bar in in the City Centre; especially after the success of the pop-up bar in High Street earlier in the year.
The brewery is going from strength to strength, and is a great Welsh business success story. We wish them all the best for the future.
